SASHIKO JACKET, MORE THAN A JACKET
Sashiko Jacket was born from a meeting between Kengo Kuma, one of the most prominent Japanese architects, and Roberto Giordani, founder and leader of Montura company.
From this came the idea of creating a special jacket in a limited edition in the year of the Tokyo Olympics, whose new Stadium Kuma designed.
Every single element of Sashiko Jacket was researched with attention and dedication to craftsmanship, employing the best manufacturing techniques and characteristic ergonomic solutions. Unique, high-quality raw materials were selected through strict lab tests.
We are honored to say that the special padding used in the Sashiko Jacket is CAMELUXE by Imbotex Lab. Cameluxe is based on upcycling, an eco-friendly process that recovers scrap fabrics made with camelhair fibres and uses a symbiotic production chain used in the manufacture of the iconic Max Mara coats.

This project also wants to launch a message of union and solidarity. The jacket will in fact have limited availability (83 + 83 jackets) and the proceeds will be divided between two solidarity projects:
